OUR CAUSE

We bring wounded, ill and injured Military Servicemen and women and their families to the West Palm Beach area for a relaxing vacation away from the hospital and a variety of activities.  This is the very least we can do for those who have offered themselves and their loved ones so fearlessly in the cause of our freedom.

Our organization is made up of VOLUNTEERS from local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Fire Department organizations and members of local communities.  Our mission is to honor and aid Wounded Warriors and their families presently recovering and rehabilitating at various Military Medical Facilities which has included Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in VA by providing them with a fun, free vacation.  Purple Heart recipients are given priority.  We also welcome Wounded Warriors who have been released from the hospital.

Our 7th Annual Wounded Warriors Trip

 April 25-April 29, 2017

Thank You Supporters and Volunteers!

Thank you to all of our Supporters and Volunteers who helped make our 7th Annual Event  April 25-April 29, 2017  a success by welcoming our group of Wounded Warriors and families to our area.  We were honored to host a group of 10 individuals including Wounded Warriors and their families.  As always, this was an all expenses paid trip to the West Palm Beach area.  Activities included Off Shore Fishing, Beach and plenty of R&R at an Oceanfront Resort.  Other activities offered this trip included a barbeque at Fire Station 3 in West Palm Beach, Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Lion Country Safari.   See pictures from this year’s trip.

Our Wounded Warriors trips are low key, low stress R&R.  Participants are free to attend any of the activities we offer, do something else or just relax at the Resort.  There are no high profile activities, no time constraints, no press, just vacation.  Wounded Warriors are welcome to visit alone, with a friend, or their families.

OUR STORY

We were inspired by a group of retired New York City Firemen that started the Long Beach Waterfront Warriors.  They introduced us to many staff members and patients at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D. C.  This is where many severely injured military servicemen and women went upon return from the Middle East.
