We bring wounded, ill and injured Military Servicemen and women and their families to the West Palm Beach area for a relaxing vacation away from the hospital and a variety of activities. This is the very least we can do for those who have offered themselves and their loved ones so fearlessly in the cause of our freedom.
Our organization is made up of VOLUNTEERS from local Fire Departments, Police Departments, Fire Department organizations and members of local communities. Our mission is to honor and aid Wounded Warriors and their families presently recovering and rehabilitating at various Military Medical Facilities which has included Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in VA by providing them with a fun, free vacation. Purple Heart recipients are given priority. We also welcome Wounded Warriors who have been released from the hospital.
Our 6th Annual Wounded Warriors trip to the West Palm Beach area took place April 26-April 30, 2016. As always, this was an all expenses paid trip with no press and no high profile activities. Activities offered included Off Shore Fishing, Beach, Pool and R&R at an Oceanfront Resort for the Wounded Warriors and families. Other activities enjoyed by the group included trips to Loggerhead Marine Life Center and the Zoo for the kids, dinner at Fire Station 3, massages, jet skiing and Sunfest. This year, we were very proud to host some Wounded Warriors and their families referred to us by the Building For America’s Bravest program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers and those who came to hang out with the Wounded Warriors and families.
